Early Childhood Care and Education

Early Childhood Care and Education, is the most important foundation in the years of planned education. In the recent years, there has been an increasing demand for qualified, trained  personnel to collaborate with young learners in the early years, as methods of learnings are constantly being evolving. Keeping this aspect in mind, NavChetna Trust began with the  One – year part time programme in Early Childhood Care and Education.

The E.C.C.Ed Programme at D. G. Khetan International School  aims at ‘making’ teachers rather than just hiring them.

The programme provides not just the conventional ways of knowledge acquisition, but leans more towards the theoretical knowledge that allows the trainee  educators to understand  basics of child psychology, tackling learning and behavioural  difficulties, creative techniques for class room activities and lessons, effective planning and management of classroom or preschool, and other aspects of schooling.

To ensure optimum output in the programme, the trainee educators have the  advantage of engaging in hands-on learning through classroom internship for the  entire year. Having this  exposure to not just the best teachings but having to learn from experience has given our  trainees an advantage who have been successfully absorbed in our school as well as other prestigious schools where they have gained accolades for not just their grooming and  efficiency but also for their excellence in creativity and well carved teaching skills acquired. Slowly,  our trainees have now taken roots internationally and have taken up to international  opportunities.

The journey which started with a small and simple vision of our trustees has come to reality, today to become not just a respected and trusted institute in promoting  professional training towards self employment but to become an  institution  recognized in teacher training which is more committed, gets stronger and continuously outdoing itself, striving each year to become one of the most preferred teacher training programme currently.
